- AIC rebounded in the second set and started to get into a rhythm. The score was tied at 10 when the Yellow Jackets went on a 5-1 run to take the 14-11 lead.
- They would close out the second set on an 11-6 run and take the second game 25-17 to tie the match at 1-1.
- After being down 2-0, the Skyhawks went up 8-4 early in the third set. A kill by Annie Boele and great serves from Mercy Rivera started an 11-1 run for the Yellow Jackets. That momentum gave the Jackets the opportunity to go on another run, 9-0 to take the third set, 25-11.
- The Skyhawks didn't keep their heads down as they came out swinging in the fourth set, jumping out to an 8-4 lead. The Yellow Jackets tried to claw back, but the Skyhawks took the set 25-18 to force a fifth set.
- After letting a 10-5 fifth set lead escape this last weekend, AIC took care of the fifth set. The Yellow Jackets jumped out to a 9-3 lead and never looked back, as they took the set 15-9.
