LAST TIME OUT: Overcoming an early deficit, the Yellow Jackets took advantage of Jessica Lawler's six goals and a hat trick by Brittany Hutchison to beat the Southern New Hampshire University Penmen 16-15 in overtime on April 22. Hutchison had the winning goal, taking a pass from behind the net from Abigail Cavallo and ripping it high right to end the game. Lawler had three goals in each half of regulation. Riley Brennan added four goals and an assist, while Alexis Torosian stopped ten shots for the win.

That same day, the Owls found themselves down 8-0 early against then-third ranked Le Moyne and could not come back, falling 15-7 in Syracuse, New York. The visiting side did play even in the second half, matching the Dolphins' five in the frame. Nicole Healey had a hat trick in the setback.

LAST TIME THEY MET: Healey had the difference-maker in overtime as the Owls beat AIC 7-6 in New Haven, Connecticut on April 27, 2016. The Jackets struck early and often, building a 3-0 lead thanks in part to two Lawler goals in the first 7:49, but Southern Connecticut tied the game before halftime. AIC scored first in the second, but a three-goal run by the Owls over a two-minute stretch put AIC down 6-4 before two late goals, including Lawler's third of the game, forced the extra session. Torosian stopped 10 shots in the setback.

SCOUTING SCSU: Healey is the Owls' top threat, scoring 41 goals this season and adding five assists for 46 points. Samantha Cozzolino also provides firepower, with 23 goals and a team-best 12 assists for 35 points. Kennedy Sherman rounds out the top three with 17 goals and seven helpers for 24 points. Alexandra Takacs has played every second in net for SCSU, registering a .382 SV% on the strength of 124 saves. No team has allowed more goals in the NE10 than the Owls, who have conceded 201.

FOUR FROM 100: Lawler's six-goal game catapulted her into seventh all-time in goals in AIC women's lacrosse history with 96. Now, she has two games left to become the seventh player to reach triple digits. Earlier this season, Brennan became the sixth member of the exclusive club.

SHOT FIRED: The Yellow Jackets and Owls are tied for second-to-last in shots on goal. Both teams have 233 on-target bids in 14 games, ahead of only Saint Michael's, who have 180 shots on goal.

AND THE SAVE IS MADE: Torosian leads the NE10 with 136 saves on the season, while Takacs sits fourth with 124 stops.

NEXT UP: The Jackets close out the NE10 campaign and the 2017 season with a trip to Saint Michael's College in Colchester, Vermont for a 3 p.m. start on April 29.
