LAST TIME OUT: The Yellow Jackets exploded for a season-best 18 goals, cruising past Post University 18-2 on April 20. Jessica Lawler had a program-record seven assists as part of an eight-point day, setting up all four of Riley Brennan's goals. Stefanie Dufresne had two goals and two assists, Lauren Witherspoon, Kelsey Daniels, and Brittany Hutchison each scored twice, and Jocylyn Deome netted her first of the season in the win. Alexis Torosian stopped all six shots she faced in the first half, while Chelsea Davis made five saves in the final 30.

Southern New Hampshire raced out to a 5-0 lead against No. 18 Stonehill, but could not hold on, surrendering nine second-half goals in a heartbreaking 11-10 loss to the Skyhawks. Alexis Felt scored five goals and added an assist, while Kristin Wilder scored two goals and an assist and Alexa Bedell had a goal and two assists. Nicole Kennedy made six saves in the setback.

LAST TIME THEY MET: The Yellow Jackets had a huge second half, but Southern New Hampshire poured on the offense in a wild 21-15 win in Manchester on April 23, 2016. Wilder had a natural hat trick in the first half as part of a seven-goal day, and Bedell had two goals and five assists. That was enough to overcome three AIC hat tricks, including three-goal days by Lawler and Brennan, a two goal, one assist performance from Mary Bates, and two goals and two assists from Dufresne. Torosian made 11 saves in the loss, while Kennedy stopped 10 in 55:31 for the win.

SCOUTING THE PENMEN: Wilder is not quite on the pace she was a year ago when she scored 76 times, but with 43 goals and eight assists for 51 points, she still sits fifth in the Northeast-10 in goals. Felt has 32 goals and Kennedy Daziel has 30, while Bedell has 26 goals to go with 30 assists, tied for second in the NE10 in helpers. Merry Harrington has 21 goals and 10 assists, and Casey Duggan rounds out the top scoring contingent with 17 goals and six assists. Kennedy has started 10 games and appeared in 12, with a .471 SV% on 107 saves; Leah Olansky has made four starts and appeared in seven games, with a .380 SV% on 30 saves.

RECORD REWRITE: Many of the AIC seniors are near the top of the record books and still have a significant chance to improve their standing with three games left:

Lawler is fifth all-time at 156 points, two behind fourth-place Caitlin Mooney. She has 90 goals, tenth most all-time, but within four goals or fewer of three different players. At 66 assists, she sits third, six back of second and 11 behind the all-time leader.

Dufresne's 133 points put her seventh all-time, three back of sixth-place Corrie Ackerly. Her 58 assists mark her fourth all-time in program history, and her 169 draw controls place her second, as do her 63 caused turnovers; the latter has her just eight away from the record of 71 set by Cheyenne Carden. Finally, her 123 ground balls are tied for fourth-most all time, seven back of second-place Morgan Mastronardi's 130.

Brennan sits at 109 goals, sixth all-time, within eight or fewer goals of three different players; she needs three to tie Ackerly in fifth and one after that to tie Ashleigh Szawlowski for fourth. One point will give her 123 and move her from ninth into a tie for eighth all-time with Whitney McKay. Finally, two free-position goals will draw her even with Carden's record of 25.

Abigail Cavallo is also on the top ten list for ground balls collected, at tenth with 86. She sits two back of Alex Hudyka in ninth with 88.

Lastly, in net, Torosian sits third in saves at 540, and third in ground balls with 124. Like Dufresne, she has a good chance of passing Mastronardi on the list, needing just six to draw even.

NEXT UP: The Jackets have their home finale against Southern Connecticut on April 26 under the lights of Abdow Field at 7:00 p.m.
