SPRINGFIELD, Massachusetts-The American International College men's lacrosse team absorbed a 28-1 defeat against the sixth-ranked Merrimack College Warriors at Abdow Field on April 15.

AIC's record now stands at 0-15 overall and 0-10 in the Northeast-10 Conference.

The lone goal of the game for the Yellow Jackets was scored in the first quarter, as senior attacker John Magliano scored his team-best 13th goal of the season at 6:03 of the frame.

Rookie goalkeeper Matt Sayegh made 16 saves in the game, extending his national lead to 226 stops on the year.

The Yellow Jackets are away for their final two games; they conclude the NE10 schedule on Saturday, April 21 at 1:00 p.m. with a matchup at Saint Michael's College.
