LAST TIME OUT: Five different Yellow Jackets scored in a 17-5 setback to Stonehill on April 8. Riley Brennan, Jessica Lawler, Stefanie Dufresne, Brittany Hutchison, and Lauren Witherspoon each tallied, with Witherspoon's late goal standing as the first of her collegiate career. Chelsea Davis played most of the second half in net, recording eight saves on 16 shots.

Caitlin Sweeney scored seven times, and needed to, as the Ravens flew past the Southern New Hampshire Penmen 15-14 on April 8. It was the first win for Franklin Pierce over its in-state rival since 2004. Sweeney, who also had a match-best nine ground balls, scored the winning tally with 1:29 left in regulation. The Ravens had scored the first six in the game, but the Penmen rallied for a 13-10 lead by the middle of the second half, only to have FPU score five straight to win the game. Denise Hunt made 12 saves in the win.

LAST TIME THEY MET: Three Jackets had hat tricks, but AIC could not overcome an early deficit in a 21-15 loss in Manchester, New Hampshire on April 23, 2016. Brennan and Lawler were among those who tallied three for AIC, while Dufresne and Mary Bates each had two and Mikayla Demanche had a goal. Alexis Torosian made 11 saves in the setback.

SCOUTING THE RAVENS: The Sweeney twins lead the way for Franklin Pierce, with Caitlin netting 39 goals, second best in the conference, aand her sister Briana at 26 goals and a team-high 17 helpers, tied for fifth in the NE10. Anna Wilbert has 20 goals and Julia Miller rounds out the team's top scorers with 14. Denise Hunt has played all 541:25 in net for the Ravens, with 77 saves and a .425 SV% to go with a 10.64 GAA.

GETTING CLOSE: Lawler is closing in on a milestone and a record. She has 91 goals in her career, leaving her six games to get to triple digits. She also has 71 assists, which is six fewer than the program record of 77.

ALMA MATER: Yellow Jackets assistant coach Ashley Lamagdeline was a graduate of Franklin Pierce and played lacrosse for the Ravens from 2010-13.

NEXT UP: The Jackets visit Merrimack on Tuesday, April 18, for a 7:00 p.m. scheduled start.
