LAST TIME OUT: The Yellow Jackets fell behind early to Bentley in a 14-3 loss to the Falcons. The hosts scored all seven of the first quarter's goals and held a 9-0 edge early in the second; AIC broke the shutout with a goal by Kevin Papineau before the break. Jack McIntyre scored AIC's only goal of the third, but Bentley scored five in that frame to take a 14-2 lead. The only tally of the fourth quarter belonged to AIC, as Quinn Caesar hit the back of the net with just under a minute to play.

Southern New Hampshire rallied late, but fell short in an 11-8 setback against Pace. The Setters exploded for three early goals in the second quarter to build a 5-1 lead and maintained the edge through the start of the fourth, going up 11-5 with a rally in the middle of the frame. But the Penmen refused to quit, scoring three consecutive man-up goals to bring the score within three. The deficit was too large to overcome, however, as the Setters were able to run out the clock. Corey Cairo did most of the scoring for the Penmen, netting six goals.

LAST TIME THEY MET: Despite two hat tricks, including one by McIntyre, the Yellow Jackets were doubled up by the Penmen, 22-11, on April 12, 2016 in Manchester, New Hampshire. Though the Jackets struck first, SNHU scored ten of the next eleven goals and led 11-5 at the break. Though the Jackets would press, another rally of six straight from the Penmen from late in the third through the start of the fourth would be enough to put the game out of reach. John Magliano played 53:15 in net and made 12 saves; his 6:45 in the field was enough to let him pick up an assist as well.

SCOUTING SNHU: The Penmen have plenty of options on offense, with three double-digit goal scorers. Keifer Heckman has 22 goals to lead the team; Cairo has 16, Daniel Trainor, and Zach Jacobs have scored 16, 14, and 11 respectively to round out the list. Heckman and Trainor are also capable distributors, with each boasting a team-high eight assists. Primary faceoff man Andrew Liu is 72 for 135 on the draw, good for 53.3%. In net, Tyler Walsh has made eight starts and played just over 400 minutes, putting up a .527 SV% by making 69 saves. He holds a 9.28 GAA. Michael Brawley has seen three games, including a start, and has a .553 SV% with 21 saves and a 9.30 GAA.

THYME, ROSEMARY, AND SAYEGH: The Yellow Jackets' rookie keeper continues an impressive run. His 189 total saves leads the nation, and at 14.54 stops per contest, he ranks fourth in the per-game category.

NEXT UP: The Yellow Jackets host Senior Day and the nation's second-ranked program when Merrimack comes to Springfield on Saturday, April 15. The team will be hosting a HEADstrong Foundation fundraiser.
