The American International College men's lacrosse team looks to end their three-game skid in the home opener against Saint Thomas Aquinas College.

SCOUTING THE SPARTANS: This is the season opener for Saint Thomas Aquinas. Sophomore Thomas Hollway led the Spartans in goals with 16, and points with 20 as a freshman during the 2016 campaign, with sophomore attacker Kevin Alvora's 12 goals landed him second on the squad. Sophomore Ryan Mello played all but 3:46 of the season in the Spartans' net, posting a .508 SV% and 13.74 GAA on 169 saves out of 333 shots on goal.
STAT PACK: AIC has four point-per-game players on the roster.
Kevin Papineau and
John Magliano each have three goals in three games, while
Quinn Caesar has three assists to pace the team. Scarfo has two goals and an assist on the campaign to round out the quartet of leading scorers.
FIRST TIME MATCHUP: This marks the first ever meeting in men's lacrosse between the two institutions.
HOME OPENER: Men's lacrosse will be the second team to play their first home game against the Spartans this academic year. Field hockey took a 1-0 overtime decision against St. Thomas Aquinas on September 2, 2016 on a Chelsea Davis goal.
