- AIC retook the lead with 2:16 left in the half off a layup by Zekiah Owens from Golding. At the half, AIC led 37-35.
- Swan scored the first four points of the half with a dunk and then a jumper to put AIC up by six, 41-35.
- A fast-break layup by Golding off the rebound and pass from Swan gave the Yellow Jackets the nine-point lead with 15:21 left in the game.
- The Rams fought back and took the lead with 6:03 on the clock, 57-56. The two teams continued to battle.
- With 1:37 left in the game, the Yellow Jackets cut their deficit to one on a Williams layup. Fifty seconds later, the Yellow Jackets took the 65-64 lead as Owens took the pass from Williams and sent it home with authority.
