QUEENS, New York - The American International College basketball team had their first look at another team as they traveled to play Big East opponent St. Johns in an exhibition. The Yellow Jackets fell by a score of 84-52

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Red Storm came out hot as they scored the first 10 points on the game as they hit four of the first five shots. They continued to shoot well as they had an 18 point lead in the first eight minutes of the game.
- The Yellow Jackets kept the game close in the half by not allowing their deficit to be more than 18. At the half the Red Storm led 49-31.
- The Red Storm kept going in the second half as they beat the Yellow Jackets by a score of 84-52.
GAME NOTES:
- The Yellow Jackets returned to ESPN3 for the first time since the 2014-15 season, when ESPN3 streamed the Northeast-10 Conference Tournament.
- AIC returned just one player who started at least 10 games last season, Tahlib Swan. Kassim Kaba started just two games last season and is the only other returning player to start a game in 2016-17
