WORCESTER, Massachusetts-The American International College field hockey team struggled in a 6-0 loss against the Assumption College Greyhounds at Multi-Sport Stadium on Assumption's campus on Saturday, October 7.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Assumption scored two quick goals early on, with Shannon Quinlan scoring at 6:05 and Allison Sheahan striking at 7:09.
- Sheahan added a second goal at 16:54 and Belle Ives redirected a shot on a corner at 23:43 as Assumption took a 4-0 lead into halftime.
- Sheahan and Molly Quinlan scored in the second half for the 6-0 final.
- AIC was outshot 32-2, including 20-1 in shots on target.
- Chelsea Davis made two defensive saves in the second half, becoming just the second player in AIC field hockey history to record ten defensive saves in a season. Katrina Heterbring '11's record of 11 was set in 2009; additionally, Davis is two away from Heterbring's career record of 20.
