SPRINGFIELD, Massachusetts - The American International College field hockey team was held to just one shot on goal as the Saint Michael's College Purple Knights won 2-0 at Abdow Field on Tuesday, October 10.

- Offense was at a premium as both teams generated a single shot on target in the first half.
- In the second frame, the Purple Knights drew a corner, and Katie Leonard took two shots that were stopped before Maddie Green found Jackie Matthews, who pushed the loose ball in at 44:34 for a 1-0 lead.
- Morgan Johnston stole the ball in the circle and scored her second of the year at 50:49.
