SPRINGFIELD, Massachusetts- The American International College volleyball team rounded out their three game home stand against the Ravens of Franklin Pierce. AIC swept the Ravens to improve their winning streak to four.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- After falling behind 5-2, the Yellow Jackets rallied back to take their first lead of the day at 7-5.Up 9-8, AIC scored four straight and forced a Raver timeout. Immediately after the timeout, the Yellow Jackets scored once more before the Ravens broke the streak. The Yellow Jackets went on to win the first set 25-18.
- AIC rallied off the first five point of the second set when the Ravens' coach wanted to have a word with her team. The Ravens took the first point out of the timeout, but the stoppage in play did not end up working out for the Ravens. The Yellow Jackets ended up going up 12-1 and forcing the last Raven's timeout of the set. AIC took the second set with ease by a score of 25-13.
- The Ravens started the third set off by jumping out to the 4-2 lead. Once again, the Yellow Jackets went on a 9-0 run to take the 11-4 lead. The Ravens clawed their way back into the game as they trailed 22-19. AIC took the third set by a score of 25-21.
GAME NOTES:
- Rivera is now just 22 digs away from becoming the career leader in digs in program history.
- Kopren now ranks fourth all-time in program history in assists, recently passing Dawn Richardson. She currently trails Katherine Dunford by 152 assists. At the rate she has posted this season, Kopren would reach this mark in 15 more sets.
