GARDEN CITY, New York - The American International College volleyball team fell to Adelphi University, 3-1, in a road Northeast-10 matchup on Saturday.
AIC's only victory of the day came in the second set, which the team won by a score of 25-22. Adelphi started the day with a 25-16 win in the first set, followed by a 25-22 victory in the third set and a 25-15 result in the fourth.
Diva Rivas led the team with 17 kills, while
Lauren Pires had eight kills and
Annie Boele had seven.
Dolores Kopren had 35 assists, while
Mercy Rivera had 27 digs. Boele added 22 digs on the day.
