SPRINGFIELD, Massachusetts- The American International College volleyball team and The College of Saint Rose played a tight five-set match.
Diva Rivas-Reyes and
Dolores Kopren led the Yellow Jackets to the victory, 21-25, 25-18,13-25, 25-21, and 15-11.
Rivas-Reyes led the team with 23 kills while swinging .419, her highest percentage of the season.
Jana Potic chipped in 14 kills and a block.
Annie Boele recorded her eighth double-double of the season with 10 kills and 15 digs.
Dolores Kopren added 52 assist to bring her to a season total of 801, which leads the country.
Mercy Rivera's 23 digs moves her up to second place nationally with 442 total digs for the season.
The Yellow Jackets will hit the road on Saturday when they take on Adelphi in Garden City, New York.
The match is set to begin at 1 p.m.
