Baseball falls to Nova Southeastern, 9-0

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. The American International baseball team fell to Nova Southern 9-0 Tuesday evening.

With the loss AIC falls to 3-2, while the Sharks improve to 16-4.

Big NSU second and fourth innings, plating three and four runners to pull away from the Yellow Jackets.

Senior center fielder Dan Asselin (Chicopee, Mass.), junior Andy Cherico (Rehoboth, Mass.), and senir Cam MacDonald (Weymouth, Mass.) connected for the three AIC hits, but the Sharks outhit them 13-3.

Right hander, sophomore Brian Karp (Bellmore, N.Y.) went 4.1 innings and took the loss, allowing seven runs, five earned.

Shark Mitchell Buerosse (2-0) took the win, going three innings and allowing all three Jacket hits.

AIC returns to action against Bloomfield at 11 a.m. from Lantana, Fla.
