SPRINGFIELD, MA. – The American International College men's soccer team earned a 3-2 Northeast-10 victory against Bentley University on Saturday night at Ronald J. Abdow field. The Yellow Jackets improve to 2-4-0 overall and 2-0-0 in conference play, while the Falcons drop to 3-2-0 overall and 1-1-0 in the NE-10.
Junior forward
Ike Ekwueme (Manchester, England) put AIC on the board only 4:36 into the contest as he took a close distant shot and buried it past senior goalie Alex Pilitsis (Brunswick, Maine).
Bentley knotted the contest at 17:34 in the first half when junior forward Cody Osgood (Harvard, Mass.) scored off of a rebound. Senior midfielder
Conor Doyle (Douglas, Isle of Man) gave AIC a 2-1 lead when he scored on a shot to the top corner of the goal.
The Falcons tied the contest at 74:42 when senior back Weston Zeiner (North Granby, Conn.) found the back of the net off a pass from freshman back Stephen Silva (Suffield, Conn.).

Jason Burnusuz (Westfield, Mass.) gave the Yellow Jackets the 3-2 victory when he scored off a pass from freshman forward
Ed Sharman (Runbridge Wells, England).
Junior goalie
Jason Ryan (Peabody, Mass.) made four saves in the win, while Pilitsis made two in the loss.
Bentley outshot AIC 12-11 and held an 8-4 advantage in corner kicks.
The Yellow Jackets will travel to UMass Lowell on Tuesday night for a 7 p.m. Northeast-10 contest.
