NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The American International College men's soccer team dropped a 3-0 non-conference contest to Post University Saturday in the second day of competition at the Merrimack Classic. The Eagles improved to 1-1 for the season, while the Yellow Jackets fell to 0-2.

Junior Joe Baccielo (Stratford, Conn.) scored all three goals for Post, getting the Eagles on the board in the 28th-minute and then extending their lead to 2-0 2:39 later. He scored the third and final goal of the contest in the 57th-minute.

Senior Errol Reid (St. Elizabeth, Jamaica) registered seven saves while recording the shutout for Post, while junior Jason Ryan (Peabody, Mass.) had three stops in taking the loss for AIC.

The Yellow Jackets lost the game despite outshooting the Eagles 14-9 and having a 7-2 advantage in corner kicks.

AIC will next travel to New York Institute of Technology September 6 for a 4 p.m. non-conference contest.
