ABOUT AIC: The Yellow Jackets are 2-2 overall this season and 0-2 in the Northeast-10 after dropping a 63-61 conference decision at Pace last Tuesday. AIC opened the game with a 7-0 run and held the lead until midway through the second half when the Setters went on a 9-1 run to take the lead for good. The Yellow Jackets trailed 64-59 with 2:42 to go in the game, but managed just two points from there as Pace held on for the win. Senior guard Ricky Hudson leads the team in scoring with 13.5 points per game while also averaging 5.5 rebounds per contest with 13 assists and five steals. Junior guard Spencer Braithwaite is averaging 13.3 points per game and leads the team with 23 assists for the season, and is shooting 50 percent (8-16) from downtown. Junior guard/forward Jason Perrier is averaging 11 points and 6.5 rebounds per game while shooting 43.8 percent from the floor, while junior center David Campbell is averaging 10 points and a team-best 8.8 rebounds per game while shooting 50 percent from the floor. The Yellow Jackets are averaging 68.8 points per game while holding their opponents to 59.8 points per contest.

ABOUT LE MOYNE: The Dolphins won their season-opener at Pace 73-56 November 14 before dropping a 68-66 decision against the College of Saint Rose last Tuesday to start the 2012-13 season. Brian Zapisek leads the team in scoring with 19 points per game and is shooting an incredible 73.7 percent (14-19) from the field. He is also averaging 3.5 rebounds per game and has a team-best five steals. Junior center Jim Janson is averaging 12 points and 5.5 rebounds per game while shooting 57.9 percent (11-19) from the floor, while sophomore guard Naté Gause is averaging 11.5 points and four rebounds per game coming off the bench. Junior guard Nate Champion is averaging 10.5 points and six rebounds per contest. Le Moyne is shooting 43.8 percent from the floor and 54.1 percent from three through two games, while its opponents are shooting just 35.4 percent from the field and 32.4 percent from downtown.

LAST TIME THEY MET: Graduate guard Sesoo Ikpah scored each of his 11 points in the final 5:16 of the game to lead the American International College men's basketball team to a 65-60 overtime victory over Le Moyne February 8 right here at Butova Gymnasium. Schmidkunz scored a game-high 19 points with four rebounds, three steals and two assists for the Yellow Jackets, while Braithwaite netted 15 points with six boards, and six assists. Ikpah finished with 11 points, four rebounds and three assists. Janson scored 18 points and pulled down six rebounds to lead Le Moyne. Chris Secky chipped in with 12 points, four assists and three boards off the bench, while Champion finished with 11 points and four boards. The game was tied at 55 with 1:40 remaining in OT before AIC went on a 7-0 run to take control of the game and secure the win.
