EASTON, Mass. – The American International College men's soccer team dropped a 2-1 Northeast-10 decision at Stonehill College on Wednesday night. The Skyhawks improved to 2-8-1 overall and 1-7-0 in the conference, while the Yellow Jackets moved to 3-7-1 overall and 3-3-1 in the NE-10.

Roni Unger (West Hartford, Conn.) put AIC on the board at the 50 minute when he found the back of the net off a pass from senior midfielder
Conor Doyle (Douglas, Ilse of Man). Ten minutes later Stonehill tied it up at 1-1when sophomore back Ben Zandonella (South Windsor, Conn.) scored his first goal of the contest off a header.
Zandonella scored his second goal of the contest 2:10 minutes later to give the skyhawks the 2-1 lead and the victory over the Yellow Jackets.
Freshman goalie Luke Besse (Hamilton, Mass.) stopped three in the win, while freshman goalkeeper
Sebastian Tamayo (Stratford, Conn.) made five saves in the loss for AIC.
Stonehill outshot the Yellow Jackets 18-15, while AIC held a 9-5 advantage in corner kicks.
The Yellow Jackets will host Saint Michael's College on Sunday afternoon for a 1 p.m. Northeast-10 contest.
