Box Score

WALTHAM, Mass. – The American International College men's soccer team dropped a 2-0 Northeast-10 contest at Bentley University Sunday afternoon. The Yellow Jackets fell to 1-3-1 overall and 0-2-0 in the NE-10, while the Falcons improved to 2-1-1 overall and 1-0-0 in conference play.

Sophomore midfielder/back Justin Cirasola (Oceanside, N.Y.) scored off a corner in the 23rd-minute to give Bentley the only marker it would need in the match. Sophomore forward/midfielder Cody Osgood (Harvard, Mass.) headed in an insurance goal in the 53rd-minute for the 2-0 final.

Senior keeper Matt Reynolds (Nashua, N.H.) needed to make just one save to earn the win in goal for the Falcons, while sophomore Jason Ryan (Peabody, Mass.) had five stops in taking the loss for AIC.

Bentley outshot the Yellow Jackets 14-5 in the game and had a 12-2 advantage in corner kicks.

AIC will next host UMass Lowell Wednesday night at 7 p.m. at Ronald J. Abdow Field.
