The Dolphins led for almost the entire first half and closed the period with a 9-0 run to take a 33-24 lead into the locker room at the half. Their lead was 11 after Johnson drained a three to make it 43-32 in favor of Le Moyne 4:40 into the second half.
AIC took over the game from there, going on a 23-5 run over the next 10 minutes to take a 55-48 lead. Another Johnson three made it 66-60 in favor of the Yellow Jackets with 1:02 left in the game, but that was as close as the Dolphins would get as AIC 4-of-6 at the line in the final minute.
The Yellow Jackets shot 40.4 percent (23-57) from the field and 20 percent (3-15) from three, while Le Moyne shot 34.5 percent (20-58) from the floor and 18.2 percent (4-22) from downtown. AIC went 21-of-32 at the free throw line, while the Dolphins went 16-for-21.
