NFHCA Coaches' Poll, WomensFieldHockey.com Poll

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The American International College field hockey team now finds itself ranked ninth in the Kookaburra/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Coaches' Poll and is ranked 10th in Division II by WomensFieldHockey.com.

The Yellow Jackets (11-7, 6-4 Northeast-10) moved up one spot in the NFHCA poll after being ranked 10th last week. This marks the first time this season the AIC has been ranked by WomensFieldHockey.com.

AIC is seeded fifth in the upcoming Northeast-10 Championship Tournament and will travel to fourth-seeded and 10th-ranked Bentley University October 26 for a 7 p.m. first round match. The winner of that contest will advance to face top-seeded and fourth-ranked Merrimack College Friday at 4 p.m.
