Setting the Scene - The American International College men's basketball team hosts Stonehill College in a battle of two fo the top teams in the Northeast-10 Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m. at Butova Gymnasium.

About AIC - The Yellow Jackets improved to 12-4 for the season and 8-3 in the Northeast-10 following a 57-41 conference win over UMass Lowell Saturday. Junior forward Isiah Wallace leads the team in scoring and is second in rebounding with 17.8 points and eight rebounds per game. Senior guard Allen Aragbaye is averaging 16.3 points and 5.1 boards per game, while sophomore guard Ricky Hudson is averaging 10.6 points per game off the bench. Senior forward Denzel Jackson leads the team in rebounding (9.3 rpg), assists (54) and blocked shots (17), and is averagign 5.3 points per game. AIC is averaging 68.8 points per game while shooting 42 percent from the field, while its opponents are averaging 63.2 points per game and shooting 37 percent from the floor.

Wallace Climbing Scoring List - Junior forward Isiah Wallace is quickly moving up AIC's career scoring list. He is currently 20th with 1,155 career points. Next up on the list is Errol Jones, who scored 1,183 career points from 1991-95.

Last Time Out - AIC recorded a 57-41 Northeast-10 victory over UMass Lowell Saturday afternoon at Butova Gymnasium. Junior forward Isiah Wallace posted a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Yellow Jackets, while junior guard Adrian Hynes-Guery dropped 14 points with eight boards and three assists. Senior forward Denzel Jackson just missed a double-double with eight points and 11 rebounds. AIC led 26-18 at the half and put the game out of reach with an 11-2 run to open the second period. The Yellow Jackets continued to pull away as the half went on and led by as many as 23, 54-31, with 4:14 to go in the game

About Stonehill - The Skyhawks enter tonight's game with an overall record of 13-3 and are 8-3 in the Northeast-10 following a 78-57 win at New Haven Sunday. Stonehill has now won eight in a row following a 58-45 loss at Bentley December 8, 2010. The Skyhawks have four players scoring in double-figures this season, led by Ivan Almeida and Mike Kernan with 12.6 points per game apiece. Almeida is also averaging 5.9 rebounds per game and leads the team with 26 blocked shots and 22 steals, while Kernan leads the squad with 9.6 boards per contest. Patrick Lee is averaging 10.2 points and 6.7 rebounds per game, while Brian Hamor is averaging 10 points per game off the bench. Stonehill is averaging 70 points per game while shooting 47 percent from the field, while its opponents are averaging 58 points per game and shooting 37 percent from the floor.
