RINDGE, N.H. – The American International College men's basketball team closed the game with a 16-4 run over the final seven minutes to pull out a 65-52 Northeast-10 victory at Franklin Pierce University Saturday afternoon. Senior guard
Allen Aragbaye (Corona, Calif.) scored a game-high 20 points to lead the Yellow Jackets.
AIC improved to 14-4 overall and 10-3 in the Northeast-10 with its third consecutive victory, while the Ravens fell to 5-13 overall and 3-10 in conference play.

Isiah Wallace (Springfield, Mass.) just missed a double-double with 18 points and nine boards. He now stands 19th on the Yellow Jackets' career scoring list with 1,196 career points, surpassing Errol Jones who scored 1,183 points from 1991-95.
Junior guard
Adrian Hynes-Guery (Montreal, Que.) added nine points with five rebounds and four assists, while sophomore guard
Ricky Hudson (Sewell, N.J.) tallied nine points, four boards, four assists and three steals off the bench.

The game was tied at 15-15 before a 13-1 AIC run gave the Yellow Jackets a 28-16 advantage midway through the first half. The Ravens chipped away at that lead and trailed 35-30 at the intermission.
It remained close for most of the second half and Vourliotakis-Perdikaris knocked down a jumper to make it a one-point game in favor of AIC, 49-48, with 7:19 to go in the contest.
Aragbaye answered with a two-point bucket of his own on the ensuing possession to start the Yellow Jackets' run to put the game out of reach. He scored each of the first nine points in that run.
AIC shot 45.6 percent (26-57) from the field, 13.3 percent (2-15) from three and 84.6 percent (11-13) from the line, while the Ravens shot just 33.8 percent (22-65) from the floor, 20-percent (3-15) from three and 45.5 percent (5-11) from the line.
The Yellow Jackets will next host Saint Michael's College Tuesday for a 7:30 p.m. Northeast-10 contest at Butova Gymnasium.
