SCSU regained the lead for good in the bottom of the second when sophomore third baseman A.J. Rouleau (Westborough, Mass.) singled through the left side to score sophomore shortstop Ryan Geffert (Plymouth, Pa.) from second. The Owls blew the game open with a five-run fourth and then added three runs in the seventh to put the game out of reach.
The Yellow Jackets got back on the board in the top of the eight with the help of three SCSU errors that loaded the bases for Blaschke, who singled to left with two outs to drive in junior third baseman
