Greyhounds Blank Men's Soccer Team, 2-0

WORCESTER, Mass. – The American International College men's soccer team dropped a 2-0 Northeast-10 contest at Assumption College Saturday night, dropping its record to 5-6-1 overall and 3-4-1 in the NE-10. The Greyhounds improved to 5-4-2 overall and 4-4-1 in conference play.

Senior forward Steve Blaisdell (Peabody, Mass.) scored both goal for Assumption. He put the Greyhounds ahead in the 29th minute and added an insurance goal in the 70th minute for the 2-0 final.

Senior keeper Brandon Sullivan (Halesite, N.Y.) recorded 11 saves in net to earn the win in goal, while freshman keeper Jeremy Nash (West Springfield, Mass.) had eight stops in taking the loss.

The Yellow Jackets outshot 19-13 in the game, including a 13-6 margin in the second half, and had a 6-0 advantage in corner kicks.

AIC will next host the College of Saint Rose Tuesday night at Ronald J. Abdow Field. The Northeast-10 contest will get under way at 7 p.m.
