About Bentley - The Falcons enter today's contest after suffering a 28-23 loss at home to New Haven last week. Senior quarterback Bryant Johnson has completed 87-of-142 passes for 956 yards and 10 touchdowns, while junior running back Bobby Tarr and freshman running back Lorenzo Warren have combined for 356 yards on the ground. Warren has accounted for two of the Falcons' five rushing TDs. Senior wide receiver John Malone has 22 catches for 272 yards and four touchdowns, while senior wide receiver Kyle Tuthill has 18 grabs for 176 yards and two scores. Senior linebacker Mark Dolan leads the team with 43 tackles, while senior linebacker Greg O'Brien is a close second with 41 tackles.
LAST TIME THEY MET: AIC turned the ball over four times in a 30-20 loss at Bentley September 25, 2009. Bentley quarterback Bryant Johnson completed 27-of-48 passes for 246 yards and two touchdowns and ran for an additional 72 yards for the Falcons. AIC quarterback
Rob Parent was 19-of-42 for 250 yards and had two touchdowns throws for AIC. He was also picked off three times in the game. The game was tied at 20 early in the fourth quarter before the Falcons engineered back-to-back scoring drives to pull out the win in Waltham.
ABOUT THE SERIES - This marks the 16th meeting between AIC and Bentley. The Yellow Jackets win each of the first five games from 1996-2000, but the Falcons have dominated the series since then. Bentley is 8-2 against AIC since 2001. The Yellow Jackets are 4-2 against the Falcons at home and have won each of the last two games played in Springfield.
