Manchester, N.H. – The American International College men's soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision at eighth-ranked Southern New Hampshire University Saturday night in a Northeast-10 contest. The Penmen improved to 6-1-1 overall and 3-0-1 in the NE-10, while the Yellow Jackets fell to 3-5-0 overall and 1-3-0 in conference play.
Junior forward/midfielder Daniel Hernandez (Salem, N.H.) opened the scored the only goal SNHU would need 15:20 into the contest. Sophomore back P.J. Burnette (Brunswick, Maine) added an insurance goal 1:50 into the second half and freshman midfielder Ruben Resendes (Fall River, Mass.) made it a 3-0 contest in the 81st-minute, with an assist from sophomore back/midfielder Jayme Kapinos (Ludlow, Mass.). 
Graduate keeper Sean Lambert (Rehoboth, Mass.) made three saves to earn the decision in goal for the Penmen. Senior keeper #Ryan Brooks-Newman# (Selkirk, N.Y.) had seven stops for AIC. SNHU outshot the Yellow Jackets 20-10
AIC returns to action Wednesday when they host Bridgeport in a 5 p.m. non-conference contest.
