Erie, Pa. – Senior midfielder Emily Warren (Amherst, N.Y.) scored three goals, including the game-winner, as Mercyhurst College recorded a 4-0 non-conference win over the American International College field hockey team Sunday afternoon. The Lakers are ranked 10th in the National Field Hockey Coaches Association coaches' poll.

Warren opened the scoring in the 11th-minute and added two goals in the final eight minutes of the contest. Junior forward Sara Wowkowych (Rochester, N.Y.) also scored for Mercyhurst, while sophomore goalie Ashley Wiskup (Holland, N.Y.) stopped three shots to record the win in goal. Sophomore goalie #Kim Steiner# (Little Falls, N.Y.) had 12 saves for the Yellow Jackets (0-2).

AIC will next open the Northeast-10 portion of its schedule when it travel to Merrimack Saturday for a 12 p.m. contest.
