The American International College baseball team fell to Southern New Hampshire 4-1 in a Northeast-10 match-up on Friday afternoon. With the loss the Yellow Jackets dropped to 6-20 overall and 4-10 in the NE-10, while the Penmen improved to 11-16-1 and 8-8-1.
SNHU got on the board in the bottom of the first inning as sophomore shortstop Tim Rines (Merrimack, Mass.) singled through the left side to score third baseman freshman Curtis Burke (Bristol, R.I.) from third. In the second, senior left fielder Jeff Giannino (Beverly, Mass.) hit a shot down the left field line for his sixth homerun of the season.
