Thomas Denomme# (North Smithfield, Mass.) recorded his team leading seventh goal of the season, at 81:12 with an assist from Doyle. The Greyhounds attempted to pull off the comeback when they scored in the 86th-minute to bring the score to 3-2.

Ryan Brooks-Newton# (Selkirk, N.Y.) made two saves in earning the win, while junior Brandan Sullivan (Halesite, N.Y.) stopped seven shots in the losing effort.
AIC outshot Assumption 20-15 on the day and held an 8-1 advantage in corners.
Next up, the Yellow Jackets travel to Saint Rose on Wednesday for a 4 p.m. start. AIC returns home on October 20th against Southern Connecticut at 7 p.m.
