ABOUT LE MOYNE: The Dolphins, who have lost five of their last seven games, enter tonight's contest with an overall record of 9-10 and are 5-9 in the Northeast-10 after dropping a 90-79 decision at Assumption Saturday afternoon. Junior forward Laurence Ekperigin leads the team in scoring and rebounding with 19.1 points and 11.8 rebounds per game and has a team-best 41 blocked shots. Christopher Johnson is second in scoring with 14.6 points per game. Damani Corbin is averaging nine points per game and leads the team with 83 assists and 29 steals. Sophomore forward Kevin Roth ranks four in scoring and second in rebounding with 8.6 points and 6.5 boards per contest.
LAST TIME THE MET: AIC won the season-opener, 77-68, November 25 in Springfield. Ikpah led the Yellow Jackets with 24 points and Wallace chipped in with 20 points, eight rebounds, three assists and three steals. Ekperigin led all scorers with 26 points and pulled down a game-high 11 rebounds for the Dolphins. AIC opened the game on a 22-8 run and led by as many as 17 after going on a 9-2 run to open the second half. Le Moyne managed to pull back within seven in the closing minute, 73-66, but Ikpah ended any hopes of a comback after making a layup as he was fouled and converted the three-point play to seal the win for the Yellow Jackets.
