The loss brings the Yellow Jackets record to 1-6 on the season and 1-5 in the Northeast-10, while the win improves the Skyhawks record to 2-3 on the year and 2-3 in the conference. Senior #

Stonehill went up early when junior Claire Hourihan (East Amherst, N.Y.) scored just 1:48 into the first half of the game with the assist from classmate Jackie Ladino (North Dartmouth, Mass.). The Skyhawks never looked back from their early 1-0 lead. Hourihan added two more goals to cap off her evening. Ladino, senior Laura Nimon (Gardiner, Maine), and freshman Kathryn Nelson (Shrewsbury, Mass.) each added goals for Stonehill.

Kim Steiner# (Redford, N.Y.) made eight stops in goal for the Yellow Jackets, while her counterpart sophomore Courtney Osier (South Dennis, Mass.) was forced to make only one save, earning her the victory for the Skyhawks.
Stonehill outshot AIC 26-2, 13-1 in each half. The Skyhawks also had the advantage in penalty corners at 10-2.
