Amanda McLean# (Branford, Conn.) scored the first goal of her collegiate career 4:30 into the first overtime period to give the American International College field hockey team a 1-0 victory at Assumption Wednesday afternoon. The Yellow Jackets improved to 1-4 on the season and 1-3 in the Northeast-10, while the Greyhounds dropped to 1-3 overall and 0-2 in conference play.

Kim Steiner# (Redford, N.Y.) registered a season-high 11 saves, including 10 in regulation, to record the first win and shutout of her collegiate career.
Assumption dominates play in regulation, out shooting the Yellow Jackets 16-0 and holding a 10-0 advantage in penalty corners. That changed in the extra period as AIC out shot the Greyhounds 2-1 and had the only two penalty corners of the period.
