Bentley Shuts Out Field Hockey Team 2-0

Waltham, Mass. - Cindy Armand (Danvers, Mass.) kicked away four shots but it wasn't enough to lead the Yellow Jackets to victory, as they fell 2-0, on the road to Bentley in a Northeast-10 match-up Saturday afternoon.

The Falcons out-shot the Yellow Jackets 14-5 and earned seven more penalty-corners (11-4) than the visiting Yellow Jackets.

Bentley scored both of their goals in the second-half. The first score came at the 45:46 mark following a penalty-corner, when Krissy Lanzillo center the ball to Megan Ramah who stroked the ball past Armand, making the score 1-0.

Less than three minutes after the game's initial score Nichole Murphy powered a shot from 13 yards out into the net for the contests final goal.

Bentley goalie Alyssa Sliney totaled two stops on the afternoon.

AIC will host Seton Hill tomorrow afternoon at the Elms College. Game time is set for noon.
