American International College Head Men’s Basketball Coach RJ Evans announced the hiring of Colin Hoffman as Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach ahead of the 2026-27 season. Hoffman will assist in all aspects of the program.
Hoffman comes to AIC from fellow Northeast 10 Conference institution Saint Anselm College, where he was hired in the same role in July 2026. With the Hawks, Hoffman aided in recruiting, built video scouting reports of both the team and opponents, ran on-court workouts, and provided logistical support.
He was also a men’s basketball team manager at his alma mater, Franklin Pierce University, another NE10 institution, during the 2023-24 season. With the Ravens, he supported the staff in film breakdown and scouting, aided in skill development during practice, and provided logistical and administrative support to the team for practices, travel, and competition.
In addition to his experience on the staffs of two NE10 programs, Hoffman has additional administrative experience with Basketbull LLC, having overseen multiple AAU-level tournament sites and led scheduling, staffing, and operations including merchandise, concessions, court workers, and scorekeeping. He also recruited teams to the tournaments through social media and direct outreach.
A native of nearby Longmeadow, Massachusetts, Hoffman graduated from Franklin Pierce in June 2026 with a bachelor’s degree in sports and recreation management. He was a baseball student-athlete, playing 51 games in four seasons, and served as co-captain of the Ravens in 2026.
