Men's Volleyball ends season in ECC Semifinal loss at STAC

SPARKILL, New York - The fourth-seeded American International College men's volleyball team fell 13-25, 14-25, 18-25 to Saint Thomas Aquinas College in the East Coast Conference Championship Tournament Semifinal on Friday, April 18.

AIC ends the season at 4-20.

Though the Yellow Jackets were able to generate a number of kills, including hitting .222 in the third set, the Spartans were incredibly efficient; they committed just four attack errors against 38 kills on 61 swings to hit .557 for the match. Key to the success was the Spartan block, which collected 12 stops on AIC attacks. 

Willie Lopez Morales had a strong match for AIC, landing 12 kills and hitting .333 on the contest. He also recorded a team-best six digs. He ends the campaign with a team-best 252 kills, becoming the first player in program history to record over 250 kills in a single season.
