Bentley wins nonconference finale over Football

WALTHAM, Massachusetts - The American International College football team closed the 2025 season with a nonconference tilt at Northeast 10 Conference foe Bentley University, losing 21-7 on Saturday, November 15.

AIC ends the season at 2-8.

The Falcons scored first, striking on a quick two-play, 60-yard drive that saw Luke Warnock hit Nayvon Reid with a 32-yard touchdown pass just 6:06 in. Warnock later found Reid again with a 15-yard touchdown pass late in the first, helping the Falcons to a 14-0 lead after one.

Bentley added a third touchdown early in the second, with Isaiah Osgood tossing a five-yard score to Rashon Bradford at 3:31.

AIC closed out the half with an incredible drive. Starting on their own two, the Yellow Jackets worked their way down field, with Amir Smith crucially gaining the needed yard on a fourth-and-one plunge to keep possession at their own 38. Ronjai Francis put AIC into Bentley territory on the next play, and then Lukas Kasko hit Fatir Bell with back-to-back passes to move closer. Finally, Kasko found the big opening, throwing a strike to Guensley Louis at the two-yard line, with the senior taking it home from there for the touchdown.

The second half belonged entirely to the defenses, with no points being scored in the final 30 minutes. Nearly all the drives ended on punts, although both teams also had a turnover on downs; Klejdi Elezaj also recovered a fumble after Bentley muffed a punt.

Kasko completed 15 passes for 109 yards; Smith led AIC with 77 rushing yards on 18 carries. Bell caught six passes for 47 yards. Defensively, Roneil Romain led the Yellow Jackets with eight tackles, while Nevin Earl had 1.5 tackles for loss including a sack, and Ahsin Jacobs had an interception. AIC allowed no sacks for the first time all season.
