SPRINGFIELD, Massachusetts - The American International College cross country team competed at the WNE Golden Bear Invitational on Saturday, October 18.

AIC's women finished 20th of 22 teams, while the men were 18th of 19 teams.

Nicole Widegren was AIC's top finisher on the women's side with a time of 29:47.28 in the six-kilometer race. For the men, Trey Fitzpatrick came across the line in the eight-kilometer race first for the Yellow Jackets in 30:30.44.

The team will next head to the Northeast 10 Conference Championship, hosted by Saint Anselm College on Sunday, October 26.
