Vermette, a psychology major, earned her second Academic All-District honor after winning the recognition in 2022-23 as well. This season, she was among AIC's top performers, earning Northeast-10 Conference All-Conference recognition at the NE10 Cross Country Championship in the fall, and in the spring she won her first career individual NE10 title, taking the 10,000-meter run at the NE10 Outdoor Track and Field Championship in 38:09.67, the fastest time for the event in the East Region.
The Ludlow, Massachusetts native is no stranger to academic awards; in addition to her two CSC Academic All-District selections, she has won NE10 Academic All-Conference honors in cross country in 2022 and 2023.
