NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana - The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) named its NCAA Division II All-Region accolades for the 2024 Outdoor Track and Field season, with two members of the American International College track and field team combining to take three All-East honors, the organization announced on Friday, May 17.

The top five student-athletes in each individual event, and the student-athletes on each of the top three relay events in each of the NCAA's eight regions are recognized.
Ayoub El Fahim put together a strong spring to earn All-Region in the 100-meter dash and 200-meter dash. His time of 10.67 seconds in the 100-meter dash ranked him fifth in the East for the season, as did his 21.41-second time in the 200-meter dash.
Kendyl Vermette took an All-Region honor for the 10,000-meter run. Her Northeast-10 Championship time of 38:09.37 not only earned her a gold medal, but was the top time among all competitors in the East this season, 11.45 seconds clear of second place.
The junior has now won five All-Region accolades from the USTFCCCA; she has earned All-Region for the 10,000-meter run in each of her three seasons of outdoor track competition, and additionally has twice earned All-East in cross country.
