Falcons use second-half corners to edge out Field Hockey

SPRINGFIELD, Massachusetts - The American International College field hockey team fell 1-0 to Bentley University in a Northeast-10 Conference matchup on Tuesday, October 2.

AIC is now 5-3 overall and 3-1 in the NE10.

The game's lone goal came in the fourth quarter as Libby Harrison knocked in a rebound at 6:18.

Bentley was awarded 17 corners in the game, 13 of which came in the second half.

Frederique den Hartog stopped 12 shots; Fenna Voll made two defensive saves, and Morgan Martellio added one.

AIC returns to action Saturday, October 5 at 12:00 p.m. against the University of New Haven.
