SYRACUSE, New York - The American International College baseball team fell in a pair of games in Syracuse, New York to Le Moyne College in Northeast-10 Conference play on Friday, April 15.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Game 1:
- The Dolphins scored five runs in the first and one in the second to take an early lead.
- In the top of the third, senior Angel Mendez went deep to left-center and gave AIC its first run of the day.
- The Dolphins added extended their lead by a pair to take the 8-1 lead.
- In the first stanza of the fifth, freshman Jackson Haker was on second when junior Michael Cruz singled through the left side and Haker came around to score. The Dolphins allowed three hits the rest of the game as they took game one by a score of 8-2.
Game 2:
- The lone run of the game came in the bottom of the second when D. Miller of Le Moyne singled through the right side with two runners on and N. Hansen came around to score.
- The Yellow Jackets had three hits in the game. Rookie Kiernan Caffrey singled in the top of the second while sophomore Alexander Morse singled in the top of the third and Haker singled in the fifth.
- The Yellow Jackets' best performance of the game came from senior Jay Chiappetta, who pitched an impressive five-hit, one-run, six-inning complete game while striking out four on just 88 pitches.
