BUFFALO, New York The American International College men's volleyball team hit the road for a pair of contests in the Buffalo, New York area. The Yellow Jackets dropped a match against Daemen College and then fell against D'Youville College.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Match 1:
- The Wildcats controlled the first set, leading 14-2 before taking the first set 25-7.
- AIC and Daemen traded the first six points of the set before the Wildcats went on an 11-2 run. They took the set 25-13.
- The home side continued rolling in the third as the Wildcats led 5-1. AIC cut the deficit to 8-6, but Daemen then widened the gap to 15-7. They completed the sweep by taking the third 25-17.
Match 2:
- After dropping the first two points, the Yellow Jackets tied things up at two. A quick run by the Saints gave them the 7-3 lead before the Yellow Jackets brought it within two. D'Youville started to create space as they led 8-6 with a 14-4 run.
- AIC trailed 23-10 when rookie John Rivera Ortiz had a kill that gave AIC a little jump, but it was not enough as the Saints took the set 25-15.
- D'Youville took the first point of the second but the Yellow Jackets answered with kills from River Ortiz and classmate Ben Warren to earn their first lead of the night. The Saints answered with an 8-2 run. Trailing 23-11, AIC took five of the next six points before the home team took the set 25-16.
- The Saints kept rolling in the third set as they jumped ahead 8-3 before taking the set 25-12.
