RINDGE, New Hampshire - The American International College men's basketball team headed to Franklin Pierce University of a Northeast-10 Conference showdown on Thursday, January 27. The Ravens used a big second half to take the game 96-68.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• The two teams battled in the first half as there were 10 lead changes and three ties. The Yellow Jackets started the game with a three from junior Frankyn Batista on the first possession.
• AIC trailed 11-10 when graduate Xion Golding scored seven points in 50 seconds that included a pair of layups and a free throw to finish a three-point play. Rookie Tyrae Washington joined the scoring party with a layup. On the next possession freshman Carlos Hubb added two of his own to give AIC the 19-11 lead.
• At 6:34 the Ravens had fought back to tie the game at 25. The two teams went hot in the final five minutes as the teams combined for 29 points. The one-point favor at the break went towards the Ravens.
• Franklin Pierce came out hot in the second half and took an 18-point lead in the first five minutes on their way to a 96-68 win.
