HOOKSETT, New Hampshire The American International College men's lacrosse team saw Northeast-10 Conference play come to a rainy end with a 19-9 loss at Southern New Hampshire University in the First Round of the 2021 Northeast-10 Conference Championship Tournament on Wednesday, April 28.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The hosts jumped out to an early 5-0 lead before redshirt sophomore Devon Walker fired home a shot from the right side for the first postseason goal in program history at 13:13 of the first.
- The Penmen built up to a 7-1 edge before redshirt sophomore Rusty Stone struck at 4:31 of the second frame; a pair of SNHU goals followed, but Stone notched another at 13:26. At the break, SNHU held a 10-3 lead.
- In the third, the offense came out firing, with redshirt sophomores Sal Amaral and Avery Foye slamming home early goals 41 seconds apart to cut the deficit to 10-5 at 2:52. The Penmen would respond with a run and take a 15-6 lead into the final break despite another Foye tally.
- The Penmen built on their lead in the early portion of the final frame, though AIC added some tallies in response, with Foye setting up redshirt sophomore Jason Vickery for a strike off the rush at 7:21 and then Vickery taking the role of playmaker for senior Matt Quinlan's goal at 7:46.
- Foye notched a third goal the first playoff hat trick in program history at 9:48 of the frame, closing out the game's scoring as the Penmen held for the 19-9 win.
