SPRINGFIELD, Massachusetts The American International College women's soccer team fell 2-1 to Franklin Pierce University on Sunday, April 18.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- In the 27th minute, Hailey Goodman took possession of the ball almost 30 yards from the net. She stepped up and took a shot 25 yards out from the left box line extended and placed it in the top right corner out of the reach of goalie Olivia Sousa.
- The Yellow Jackets answered in the 57th minute. The Ravens committed a handball to block a Yellow Jacket shot which allowed AIC to take a free kick from 22 yards out in the middle of the field. On the free kick, senior Josefine Stendahl, used the left upper-90 to tie the game.
- The Raven re-took the lead in the 73rd minute. Goodman lined up a corner kick on the left side. She found the back of the net as she twisted the ball from right to left and over the defense.
