Keiani Pangelinan missed the conversion attempt to keep the score 5-0 at the 28:01-minute mark. Suley Guerrero followed suit a little under 7 minutes later when she scored her first try of the night up the middle at 21:49 putting the jackets up 12-0 on a successful conversion by Pangelinan.
  • Brianna Helman was up next to score as she went up the right side of the field to bring the Yellow Jackets lead to 17-0 at the 18:36 mark. Kiripati and Helman both scored their second tries of the night to extend the lead to 29-0 at 10:27 left in the first half. Kiripati had a beautiful breakaway up the middle and Helman had a nice run up the right side.
  • Darlene Tafuna and Sara Doyle also got in on the action, scoring four minutes apart at the 8:39 and 4:23 minute marks to end the half at a score of 39-0.
  • The start of the second half was also in AIC's favor as Guerrero notched her second try of the match and what a beauty it was. She dodged and weaved through defenders effortlessly, faking out four different defenders to score at the 27:00-minute mark of the second half.
  • From there, UMass decided to forfeit the rest of the match, citing injuries as the main reason.
