EASTON, Massachusetts - The American International College women's soccer team tied Stonehill College 1-1 in a Northeast-10 Conference battle on Saturday, September 28.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Skyhawks struck first when Kayla Henry scored her fifth goal of the season in the 19th minute to get Stonehill out to a 1-0 lead.
- The first half was controlled by Stonehill, firing off 10 shots in the first 45 minutes.
- In the 55th minute, freshman midfielder Trystin Burger fired a shot that was saved by Stonehill goalkeeper Kaitlin Brown, but sophomore forward Caroline Porter was there for the game-tying goal on a rebound from Burger's shot.
- The goal from Porter helped force the Yellow Jackets first overtime match of the season.
- Both teams were unable to find the back of the net in overtime, resulting in a 1-1 tie in NE10 competition.
