LAST TIME OUT:
  • The Yellow Jackets came up just short in a 14-12 setback against Southern New Hampshire on April 24.
  • Sophomore Emilee Giacondino scored four times and senior Brittany Hutchison added three goals.
  • In a battle of No. 1 and No. 2, the Panthers fell to Le Moyne that same day, 8-7.
  • The teams were tied 7-7 with 11:56 left, and Bryanna Fazio scored the winner at 27:22 for the Dolphins.
  • Kole Pollock led the team with three goals, all in the first half.

LAST TIME THEY MET:
  • Hutchison scored the first goal of the game, but Adelphi topped AIC 21-5 at Motamed Field on February 28, 2018.
  • Hutchison ultimately led AIC with a hat trick, while Giacondino scored once and sophomore Devin Coulter tallied a goal and an assist for AIC's offensive output.
  • Pollock potted a game-high four goals, Riportella notched three, and Alison Johnson scored twice while setting up seven goals.

SCOUTING THE PANTHERS:
  • The Panthers have dominated the NE10 for years; their last loss to an NE10 opponent other than Le Moyne was April 22, 2015, when they were upset by New Haven during their national championship campaign.
  • Pollock sits fourth in the NE10 in goals, while Johnson is tied for first in assists and second in points.
  • The Yellow Jackets will have to take care of the ball; no NE10 team has caused more than Adelphi's 224 turnovers. Alexandra Beebe leads the way with 37, second-most in the NE10, while Nicki Stanco is fifth in the conference with 35.
  • Emma Lemanski is fifth in the NE10 with a .466 save percentage.

RECORDS TO BREAK:
  • Sophomore Brianna O'Brien is one of just three players in program history to cause 30 turnovers in a season after Jessica Fontana and Allison Roy did so last season.
  • Roy's 36 last season was the program record; O'Brien is tied with her after causing three against Southern New Hampshire, and would set a new program high-water mark with just one.
  • She already owns the single-game mark, with eight against Bentley earlier this season.
  • Senior Mary Bates has started all 67 games in the four years she has been at AIC; assuming she starts this one as well, the 68 will tie the games played record for the program that Jessica Fontana '18 set last season, but she will set a new record for starts, as Fontana started 67 of those 68 games.
